Bank Saint Petersburg IFRS net profit falls 12.6% in 2019

MOSCOW, Mar 12 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russia’s Bank Saint Petersburg fell by 12.6% on the year to 7.9 billion rubles in 2019, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the bank said in a statement on Thursday.

Net interest income went up 6.3% on the year to 23.3 billion rubles, while net fee and commission income grew 28.9% to 6.8 billion rubles. Revenue from core banking operations rose by 13.6% to 30.5 billion rubles.

The corporate loan portfolio of the bank increased by 4.5% in 2019 298.5 billion rubles as of the end of 2019, while the retail loan portfolio grew 17.5% to 99.1 billion rubles.
